Our story

Started in a
Toyota pickup.

Jay Morgan started this over twenty years ago as a one-man mobile mechanic, working out of a Toyota pickup on nights and weekends while holding down a full-time job. Today Roadrunner is a family-owned operation in Itawamba County with 39 team members, 16 technicians, six roadside service trucks and four wreckers.

Our mission is to provide top-notch customer service, and we promise you will always have a friendly voice to assist you — even after hours.

Our Peppertown Plaza shop · Fulton, MS
  • 2002 — First shopThe family rented its first shop on South Adams Street in Fulton.
  • 2012 — PeppertownThe operation outgrows Adams Street and moves to the larger Peppertown facility just off I-22.
  • 2017 — Truck shopA dedicated truck and trailer repair facility is built on the property.
  • 2018 — Next generationJay and Michelle's son, Joey, joins the team full time after serving in the US Air Force. Joey is co-owner and supervises the auto and body shops.
  • Today — Bad Boy dealer39 employees, 16 technicians, 24/7 dispatch, and an authorized Bad Boy mower and tractor dealership.
  • 2028 — FutureJay and Michelle's daughter, Summer, plans to join the team as co-owner and will manage the business office.
